Intimate body areas, such as the underarms, nipple-areola complex, groin, and the vaginal/anal areas have a higher concentration of melanocytes. As a result, these areas often become darker as you age. Friction against tight clothes, sweating and hormonal changes may also contribute to discoloration or pigmentation in these areas over time. Design Me Med Spa offers the safe and advanced Intimate Peel system that will whiten, lift and rejuvenate these intimated body areas. It will also work well on the ingrown hairs.

How does it Work?

While the Intimate Peel treatment is more popular with women, it is also well-suited for men who are unhappy with the hyperpigmentation around their private areas. The powerful, active ingredients packed into this safe and proven peel will work to counter the effects of pigmentation to lighten the skin in the treated areas. Some of the ingredients in an Intimate Peel will also work to prevent the growth of melanocytes in the private areas, which ensures longer term improvement of skin discoloration and pigmentation. 

You may require a course of 3 to 4 treatments. Our aestheticians may also provide you some homecare products to complement the Intimate Peel treatment for more sustainable outcomes.  Intimate Peel Procedure Our experienced and discreet aesthetic professionals will perform your Intimate Peel treatment after establishing a customized course of action.

 Your privacy and comfort will be prioritized at all times. It will take about 30 minutes to complete one treatment session at our office. You can return to your day’s routine or go back to work right away after the treatment. Make sure that your intimate area is shaved within 24 to 48 hours prior to your scheduled treatment. 

The area will be thoroughly cleansed and prepped before the treatment begins. Our aesthetician will apply the Intimate Peel and allow it to reach your deeper dermal layers for about 10 minutes. Lastly, the cream will be thoroughly removed, and you will then experience freshly smooth skin right after the treatment. Each treatment will be tailored to meet your unique skin care needs and cosmetic goals. During your pre-op consultation, our Intimate Peel expert will discuss your best treatment options based on your requirements and personal experiences.

Pre Care: Shave 3 days before treatment or wax 5 days before treatment. Make sure to be 5 days before or after your period. You will be going home with product on so plan to an easy day after. Also avoid tight clothing and underwater submersion for the next 3 days.  

Post Care: When you leave after your treatment wait 4 hour to wash off the masque. Follow the care instructions of the at home kit. Wait 15 days in between professional treatments. Abstain from indoor or outdoor activities causing friction, including intimacy.
